The Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, launched the Tap Water Scheme (Nal Jal Yojana) to ensure every rural household in Gram Panchayat areas has access to clean and safe drinking water through household tap connections.

Eligible residents can apply online through the Panchayat Darpan portal. Once approved by the Gram Panchayat, a tap water connection is provided, and beneficiaries pay a monthly water tax to the Panchayat.

5. Note down the Application Number for tracking status.

🧾 Post-Application Process

1. The Gram Panchayat reviews the application.

2. If approved, you’ll receive a notice to pay the prescribed connection fee.

3. After payment, the tap connection permission is issued by the Gram Panchayat.

🔍 Track Application Status

You can track your application using your Application Number and Mobile Number on the official portal.

📄 Documents Required

• Samagra ID of the family.

• Details of any pending taxes with the Gram Panchayat.
