Implemented with the support of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, the Government of India, and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), this initiative aims to modernize livestock breeding using advanced scientific methods.
Under the programme, AI technicians are being trained at the district level, and artificial insemination services are provided directly to farmers. The focus is on using high-quality semen from superior breeds to improve fertility rates, enhance animal health, and increase milk and meat production.
