The “Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana (BBY)”, launched by the Department of Horticulture, Government of Haryana, is a farmer welfare scheme designed to protect horticultural farmers from market price fluctuations. Under this initiative, farmers receive compensation from the government if they sell their fruits or vegetables below the protected price in the market.

Ladyfinger, Chilli, Bottle Gourd, Bitter Gourd, Cabbage, Radish, Tomato, Onion, Potato, Cauliflower, Carrot, Peas, Capsicum, Brinjal, Turmeric, Garlic, Mango, Kinnow, Guava, Litchi, and Plum.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a landowner, tenant, or lessee farmer in Haryana.

  • The farmer must be cultivating one or more of the 21 notified crops.

  • Registration on the Meri Fasal, Mera Byora Portal during the sowing period is mandatory.

  • Land and crop details must be certified by the Horticulture Department.


🌐 Online Application Process

  1. Visit the Portal: Go to Meri Fasal, Mera Byora Portal.

  2. Click “Farmer Registration (Kisan Panjikaran).”

  3. Read the guidelines and click on “Proceed for Registration.”

  4. Fill in the required details accurately and submit the form.

  5. After verification, you’ll receive a username and password for portal access.

Note:

  • Registration is free of cost.

  • Available only during the notified registration period.

  • Farmers can register through Sarva Seva Kendra, e-Disha Kendra, Market Board offices, Horticulture/Agriculture Departments, or Internet kiosks.


🧾 How to Make Claims & Check Application Status

  1. Login to the e-Kharid Portal: Enter your username, password, and captcha code.

  2. Access Dashboard: Submit claims or check the status of previous applications.


📄 J-Form (Sale Voucher) – Mandatory for Incentive

  • Sale through J-Form is compulsory to receive compensation.

  • After selling the produce, the J-Form details are uploaded on the BBY e-portal (http://www.bby.hortharyana.gov.in/).

  • Incentives are paid based on sale recorded in J-Form and production per acre (whichever is less).

  • The daily wholesale price is determined by the Mandi Board as per scheme guidelines.
