Rajasthan Green House Scheme 2025
🌿 Rajasthan Green House Scheme 2025 | Subsidy for Farmers
The Green House Scheme, launched by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Rajasthan, provides financial assistance to farmers for the construction of greenhouses. The scheme helps farmers increase their income by cultivating horticultural crops like vegetables, flowers, and fruits throughout the year by controlling temperature, humidity, sunlight, and other agro-climatic conditions.
🌱 About Greenhouses
A greenhouse is a structure made of glass or polythene, designed to control the internal environment for crop growth. It enables farmers to grow crops that cannot thrive in open fields due to extreme weather — whether it’s too hot or too cold.
By using greenhouse technology, farmers can grow crops in any season, ensuring consistent production and higher profitability. Greenhouses are especially effective for vegetables, fruits, and flowers, helping farmers achieve better yield and quality.
🔑 Key Highlights
Construction can begin only after receiving administrative approval or a work order from the Horticulture Department.
After completion, a verification committee will inspect the structure.
The subsidy amount will be transferred directly to the farmer’s bank account or to the supplier firm with the farmer’s written consent.
đź’° Subsidy Benefits
Farmers will receive financial assistance based on approved rates or the department’s unit cost, whichever is lower.
