Gausevak Training Scheme (Initial & Refresher) – Madhya Pradesh
The Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched the “Gausevak Training (Initial and Refresher)” scheme to provide self-employment opportunities to educated unemployed youth in rural areas. The program trains participants to deliver primary veterinary services in remote villages, helping improve animal healthcare and promote rural livelihoods.

Benefits
Initial Training:

Training cost fully covered: ₹6,000

Stipend: ₹1,000/month for 6 months = ₹6,000

Refresher Training:

Total assistance: ₹600 per Gausevak
Eligibility Criteria

Must be a resident of rural Madhya Pradesh.

Age: 18 to 35 years.
-
Must be unemployed.
-
Must have passed at least 10th standard.

Should be actively involved as a cow-helper (Gausevak).
Application Process (Offline)
For Initial Training:
Applicants are selected by the Janpad Panchayat from each Gram Panchayat.
For Refresher Training:
Gausevaks who completed initial training are selected based on seniority.
