Gausevak Training (Initial and Refresher) Scheme – Madhya Pradesh
The Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched the “Gausevak Training (Initial and Refresher)” scheme to empower educated, unemployed rural youth by providing them with self-employment opportunities and the necessary skills to deliver basic veterinary services in remote rural areas.
Key Benefits
Initial Training:

Training Cost: ₹6,000 (100% funded by the department)

Stipend: ₹1,000 per month for 6 months (₹6,000 total)

Kit: ₹1,200 worth of essential materials
👉 Total Benefit: ₹7,200 per Gausevak
Refresher Training:

Stipend: ₹500
-
Study Material: ₹100
👉 Total Benefit: ₹600 per Gausevak
Eligibility Criteria

Age: 18 to 35 years
-
Must be unemployed
-
Must belong to a rural area

Minimum qualification: Passed 10th standard

Must be a cow-helper (Gausevak)
Application Process
Mode: Offline
For Initial Training:

Applicants from each Gram Panchayat will be selected with the approval of the Janpad Panchayat.
For Refresher Training:

Gausevaks who have completed initial training will be selected based on seniority.
