The Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation, Government of Gujarat has launched the AGR 4 (Farm Mechanization) Scheme for Scheduled Caste (SC) Farmers to encourage modern and sustainable agriculture. Through this initiative, financial assistance is provided to SC farmers for purchasing advanced agricultural equipment to increase crop production, improve efficiency, and reduce farming costs.
🌾 Objective of the Scheme
The primary aim of the AGR 4 Farm Mechanization Scheme is to promote the use of modern farming machinery among Scheduled Caste farmers. Agricultural mechanization helps farmers increase productivity by effectively utilizing natural resources like land, water, and air.
This scheme is implemented across Gujarat, except in 208 talukas where the Centrally Sponsored “Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM)” scheme is already active. The AGR 4 Scheme is fully funded (100%) by the State Government.

Visit the I-Khedut Portal and open the Farming Schemes section.

Click “Click here for details” to view the AGR 4 Scheme.

Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for “Are you a registered applicant?” and click “Click to proceed”.
