Maharashtra Livestock Disaster Compensation: Revised Rates & Claim Process
The Government of Maharashtra issued a Government Resolution (GR) on March 27, 2026, updating the compensation guidelines for livestock lost due to natural calamities such as floods, heavy rainfall, lightning strikes, and cyclones.
This policy revision removes earlier capping limits, allowing affected farmers to claim state financial assistance for their actual livestock losses. Livestock & Disaster Compensation
